We wanted a little more than a log cabin bed and breakfast in northern Michigan, so we built a cedar log home as a northern Michigan Bed and Breakfast near Horton Bay. Tucked away on 60 acres of quiet Michigan pines, this Bed and Breakfast brings you the best of northern Michigan including strolling the gardens and butterfly house, viewing the ponds, walking the trails, or relaxing by the pool. The surrounding region is full of northern Michigan beauty and history. Nearby Horton Bay, Michigan was a favorite haunt of Ernest Hemingway and is now home to some nice shops including the Horton Bay General Store. Of course, we can't leave out the many local attractions found in the beautiful northern Michigan communities of Charlevoix, Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan.
